This Wedding came to me through Heather Martin of Bluebird Weddings…whom is also a very good friend of mine, who I got the honour of doing Makeup for her Wedding last summer!
Annette is from Texas and after 5 months of correspondence via email and by phone, it was so nice to finally meet her!
I always love hanging with the Bride and her Bridesmaids and family on the morning of the Wedding…it’s one of my favourite parts of the day. It’s where you get to see the real person they are…surrounded by the most important women in her life.
There is always lots of laughing, joking, telling stories of them growing up together, the trouble they got into, and everyone is lounging in pj’s having drinks….and the mood is just perfect!
These girls paired their eggplant bridesmaids dresses with some brand new Cowboy boots (a staple accessory in Texas), with fur wraps…and they just looked so perfect!
The Bride Annette, got so lucky with her weather for her Wedding…it was chilly, but so sunny!
There were people skating on Nita Lake in the background, and not a cloud in the sky!
When I finished Annette’s last stroke of lipstick and final dustings and touch ups on the girls, she was off to go for first looks with her soon to be! First looks are so popular and if you are a nervous, this is definitely a good choice…it’s very special to share a moment together when it’s just the two of you…
