Rosalie and Christian….or as their family refers to them “Jane & Ian” came from Edmonton to have their Whistler Destination Wedding!
Jane, had it in her mind that they would be having a destination Wedding in Hawaii, in the sun on the beach, but it was her husband Ian that won her over with Whistler…although it didn’t take a lot of convincing!
They’ve both been here before many times, and they both love the ski resort. I told her at her trial, it’s a win-win situation, because they could always honeymoon in Hawaii! lol
They chose to have their ceremony, at the Lady of the Mountain Catholic Church and their reception followed at the Nita Lake Lodge, where they were staying.
Her Bridesmaids mint colored dresses were stunning and apparently were a last minute find at RW & Co, which were perfectly paired with a bouquet containing succulents…and they looked so great together.
Jane, had like all my Brides, alot of ease and patience about her morning. She was calm, cool and had the Olympics on TV in the background.
For her hair we chose a side sweep ponytail, but on the elegant side, with touches of crystal to accent it under her vintage, antique style, floor length veil.
Her makeup was bold liner with soft, cool colors on the lid. Jane and Ian decided to do a first look in the snow, and there was lots of it! She kept warm with a fur wrap, matched with Cowboy boots!
It was so lovely to meet her…she is a big hockey fan and her team is the Oilers and her and her husband have quite the love story and connection…everyone has a story and it’s such an honor to meet new people in my job and get to be a part of their most special day and to make a new connection in life!
Congratulations Jane & Ian…and thank you for choosing Whistler and for choosing my team and I to assist in your day!
