A Midsummer Night’s Dream…

The beauty of working on an Editorial Project, is that you get to bring a vision or inspiration to life.

You get an idea, you have the right people in place, and throw all that creativeness into one pile, and great things happen.

This past July, I collaborated with an amazing team of professionals, and the beautiful thing was this was the first time all of us had worked together, but at the end of our shoot, you’d think we worked together before.
Everyone’s individual talents, hard work and expertise were brought forth, and a successful day was executed.

Our inspiration came from Romeo & Juliet, young lovers, and a Midsummer Night’s Dream…a Fairytale love affair.

Our venue St. Francis in the Wood, couldn’t of been a better location to tell this story.

Stained glass windows, greenery at every corner, antique wooden characteristics, an old church, the ocean, and two people in love.

Photographer Claire Ponsford of Ponsford & Worth Photography, her and I have been friends for over 10 yrs, having worked in the corporate world together, and now we are fortunate enough to be working for ourselves, and doing what we love, in a creative manner. So getting to do this project was so fun together! We sought out some of Vancouver’s finest to join us on this adventure, and no one dissapointed!! At the end of the day, we had to pinch ourselves, as it didn’t feel like work at all…and we are all already talking about the next project!
